Walking into a futuristic portal that transports you from the streets of Chicago. Sophia, the robot receptionist, is waiting to greet you at the desk and grab you a cup of coffee from the barista. The transformative experience is sponsored by perforated, lit metal acoustical ceiling panels and ever-changing messages of hospitality behind the desk.

Vibrant pops of color and pattern infuse energy into the meeting rooms. By creating livable art, it's as if one is working within an art gallery. This is the blurred line between artist and designer; I designed and built works within the space by combining the company identity with experiential expressions of the age old argument of form versus function. Here, I balanced both.
